The Manager on Duty is responsible for overseeing facility and program operations to ensure a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all members. This role also focuses on delivering excellent member satisfaction and supporting staff as needed. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor daily operations and address any issues promptly.
- Ensure safety and security standards are met throughout the facility.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist members with inquiries.
- Support program staff and help maintain a positive team environment.
SCHEDULE:
- Part-time position, 4-5 shifts per month, approximately 3-4 hour shifts, flexible scheduling
- Shifts needing coverage:
- Saturdays: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM or 12:00 PM–6:00 PM
- Sundays: 1:00 PM–6:00 PM
- Occasional evening sub: 5:00 PM–close (8:00 or 9:00 PM)
- Occasional weekend sub: noon–close
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Staff supervision experience, preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
- Certifications that must be obtained and maintained within first 90 days: CPR, AED , First Aid, Child Abuse Prevention, Blood borne Pathogens, Hazard Communication.
- Willingness to attend meetings, training, and obtain additional certification as requested.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Physical aspects of the position include, but not limited to: walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting. This position requires constant motion, with little to no sitting.
