Get into the holiday spirit with the Okauchee Area Business Association as they host the community’s Annual Tree Lighting Celebration! This festive evening offers fun for all ages, with activities happening both indoors and outdoors throughout the Legion.  Tree Lighting Ceremony: Watch the town come to life as the holiday tree is lit in front of Lake Country Family Dental, officially kicking off the Christmas season in Okauchee.  Holiday Music & Caroling: Enjoy classic carols and performances by the children of Lake Country Classical Academy.  Hot Cocoa & Treats: Warm up with complimentary hot cocoa, hot apple cider, cookies, hot dogs, chips, and other festive snacks. Santa Visit: Children can meet Santa and his elf, share their wish lists, and take home a small gift.  Reindeer Experience: Families can take a photo in the sleigh with real live reindeer!  Frozen Characters: Keep an eye out for a special visit from Anna and Elsa from Frozen!  Face Painting & Crafts: Enjoy free festive face-painting and craft stations where kids can make reindeer treats, color holiday art, and create Christmas cards to send to veterans.  Fire Pit & S’mores Station: Gather around the fire pits with cozy blankets, roast marshmallows, and enjoy the holiday atmosphere. Giving Tree for Veterans: Visitors are encouraged to take a tag from the Giving Tree and bring back donated items for the local VA Hospital.
