Description
A hilarious tweaking of Hans Christian Andersen’s "The Princess And The Pea" fairy tale, Once Upon A Mattress is a musical comedy set in a faraway kingdom long ago. King Sextimus is cursed and unable to speak, the domineering Queen Aggravain has decreed that only the princess that can pass her impossible test may marry her beloved Prince Dauntless son, and no one else in the kingdom may marry until Prince Dauntless does. Enter Princess Winnifred the Woebegone! Filled with contagious tunes, raucous comedy, and a happily-ever-after, this musical appeals to all ages.
